மலேசியாவில் விடுதலைக்கு முந்திய இந்து மத அமைப்புகள் (Hindu Religious Movements in Pre-Independent Malaysia)

Abstract

The Hindu Religious Movement in Malaysia has been a major contributor to the development of Hinduism by nurturing and protecting the Hindu religion. The purpose of this article is to explain how Hindu religious movements evolved before liberation and how its formation contributed to the growth of Hinduism and the religious awareness of the Hindus. This article is about to describe the historical evidence for the appearance of Hinduism in Malaya, what is the contribution of Hindus background in continues growth of Indian movements, how was the connections made among the religious movements in India and religious Movements in Malaysia, how the educated Hindus started these religions movements and the period in which they started. This article also discusses how the Hindu Religions created a new look after the Japanese period and the major religious movements that participated in it. This article is based on a qualitative review protocol and defined in the view of religious sociology. This article has been written based on the research library examining only the Hindu movements recorded during the Malay rule. This article will not only look at the history of Hindu religious movements that appeared before the liberation of Malaya but also the purposes they were created. This article also explains what the conditions were like for these developments and what implications they had.

ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

மலேசியாவில் இந்து சமய இயக்கம் என்பது இந்து சமயத்தை வளர்ப்பதற்கும் இந்து சமயத்தை பேணி காப்பதற்கும் மிக பெரிய பங்காற்றியுள்ளது. அதில் குறிப்பாக விடுதலைக்கு முன் இந்து சமய இயக்கங்கள் எவ்வாறு உருவாகியது, அதன் உருவாக்கம் இந்து சமய வளர்ச்சிக்கும் இந்துக்களுடைய சமய விழிப்புணர்வுக்கும் எவ்வாறு பங்காற்றியது என்பது இக்கட்டுரையின் நோக்கமாக அமைகிறது. இக்கட்டுரை இந்து சமயம் மலாயாவில் தோன்றுவதற்கு வரலாற்று சான்றுகள் எவ்வாறு அமைந்தன, இந்திய பின்னனி எவ்வாறு இந்த இயக்கங்கள் தொடர்வதற்கு காரணமாக இருந்தன, அதன் பிறகு இந்தியாவில் உள்ள சமய இயக்கங்களுக்கும் மலேசியாவில் உள்ள சமய இயக்கங்கள் தொடர்புகள் எவ்வாறு அமைய பெற்றது, அதன் பிறகு படித்த இந்துக்கள் இந்த சமயங்களை எவ்வாறு தொடங்கினார்கள், எந்த காலகட்டத்தில் தொடங்கினார்கள் என்பதை கட்டுரை விளக்குகின்றது. அதனை அடுத்து ஜப்பானியர் கால ஆட்சியின்பொழுதும் ஜப்பானியர் கால ஆட்சிக்குப்பிறகு எவ்வாறு இந்து சமயங்கள் ஒரு புதிய தோற்றத்தை உருவாக்கின அதில் பங்காற்றிய முக்கிய சமய இயக்கங்களையும் பற்றியும் இக்கட்டுரை விளக்குகின்றது. இக்கட்டுரை தரபகுப்பாய்வு நெறி அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு சமய சமூகவியல் பார்வையில் இக்கட்டுரை வரையறுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இக்கட்டுரை மலாயா ஆட்சியின்பொழுது பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட இயக்கங்களை மட்டுமே ஆய்வுக்கு உட்படுத்தி நூலக ஆய்வின் அடிப்படையில் இக்கட்டுரை எழுதப்பட்டிருகின்றது. இக்கட்டுரை மலாயா விடுதலைக்கு முன் தோன்றிய சமய இயக்கங்களின் வரலாற்றை மட்டும் ஆராயமல் அவ்வியக்கங்கள் என்னென்ன நோக்கங்களுக்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டன, என்னென்ன பின்புலங்களை சார்ந்திருந்தன இவ்வியக்கங்கள் உருவாகுவதற்கு எம்மாதிரியான சூழல் இருந்தன என்பதும் என்னென்ன தாக்கங்கள் கொண்டு வந்தது என்பதையும் இக்கட்டுரை விளக்குகின்றது.
