சரசுவின் சிறுகதைகளில் பெண்ணியச் சிந்தனை (Feminism in the short stories of Sarasu)

Abstract

Women in literature have often been used as a narrative material whether in the works of a male or female writer. The characterisation of female literary characters will differ depending on the gender of the writer of the work. An advantage of the works of the women writers is that their works are more sensitive to their experiences and their own self-identity whether it is due to the good nature of biology, psychology, culture or even the language of women. Hence, they have the space and freedom to paint all aspects of feminity that is anchored to their experiences as the main element in their works. Moreover, this study backs the idea that the feminist thinking is rather limited to the observations and criticisms of Tamil literature in Malaysia. This method will then give room for the observers to look at the appearance of more female writers into the Tamil literary scene through a new perspective. Based on this hypothesis, this brief study is aimed at reviewing Saras’ short-stories following the gynocritic theory and to understand the phases that are experienced by the writer which follow the role which has been set by Showalter.

ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

இலக்கியத்தில் பெண்கள் பெரும்பாலும் ஒரு விவரிப்புப் பொருளாகவே பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறார்கள். ஓர் ஆண் அல்லது பெண் எழுத்தாளரின் படைப்புகள் அவர்களின் பாலினத்தைப் பொறுத்து வேறுபடும். பெண் எழுத்தாளர்களின் படைப்புகளில் ஒரு நன்மை என்றவென்றால் அவர்கள் தங்கள் படைப்புகளில் தங்களின் உணர்வுகளையும் அனுபவங்களையும் தங்களின் சுய அடையாளங்களையும் விவரிக்க இடம் கிடைக்கின்றது. உயிரியலின் நல்ல தன்மை காரணமாகவும் உளவியல், கலாச்சாரம் அல்லது பெண்களின் மொழி காரணமாகவும் பெண்கள் தங்கள்

அனுபவங்களுடன் தொகுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் பெண்ணியத்தின் அனைத்து அம்சங்களையும் வரைவதற்கான சுதந்திரம் அவர்களின் படைப்புகளில் முக்கிய உறுப்புகளாகத் திகழ்கின்றன. மேலும், இந்த ஆய்வு பெண்ணியவாதி என்ற கருத்தை ஆதரிக்கிறது. மலேசியாவில், பெண்ணியச்சிந்தனை என்பது தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களின் அவதானிப்புகளுடனும் விமர்சனங்களுடன் மட்டுப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த முறையானது ஒரு புதிய கண்ணோட்டத்தின் மூலம் தமிழ் இலக்கியக் காட்சியில் அதிகமான பெண் எழுத்தாளர்களின் தோற்றத்தைப் பார்க்க இடமளிக்கும் வகையில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இந்தக் கருதுகோளின் அடிப்படையில், இந்த ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம், சரசுவின் சிறுகதைகளை ஜினோக்ரிடிக்கின் கோட்பாட்டைப் பின்பற்றி,  மறுஆய்வு செய்வதையும்  ஷோவோல்டரால் அமைக்கப்பட்ட பாத்திரத்தை எழுதிய எழுத்தாளரின் அனுபவக் கட்டங்களைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் நோக்கத்தையும் கொண்டுள்ளது.
