Abstract

Teaching and learning are important aspects of education that is being passed on from one generation to the subsequent, as an ever continuing legacy. Teaching and learning has been an invaluably precious vehicle that carries and cascades cultural and traditional values from one generation to its successor.  Though teaching and learning has evolved in to a multifaceted, multimedia discipline, the crux of the transactions between a teacher and a learner has remained the same even today. The content of the “taught” are the “learned” have also traversed with time playing a significant role in the whole teaching and learning framework. The content is also necessitated by the objective of the teaching and learning process. In this manner, teaching and learning have been continually contributing towards creating a culture with traditional and cultural values. This article strives to delineate the salient aspects of teaching and learning in creating a society with traditional and cultural values.

 ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

கற்றல் கற்பித்தல் அணுகுமுறையானது  தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக ஒரு தொடர்ச்சி நிலையில் வளர்ந்து வந்துள்ளது. இதன் அடிப்படையில் ஒரு இனத்தின் பண்பாடு அடுத்த சந்ததியினருக்குத் தாங்கிச் செல்லும் அரிய வாகனமாக கற்றல் கற்பித்தல் கலை பயன்பட்டிருக்கின்றது. கற்றல் கற்பித்தலில் பன்முகங்கள் கொண்ட செயல்முறைகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டாலும் அடிப்படையிலான கற்றல் கற்பித்தல் என்ற செயல்பாடு மாணவர் ஆசிரியர் என்ற இரு குழுவினரிடமும் இன்றும்  நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இக்கற்றல் கற்பித்தலில் அணுகுமுறைகள் ஒருபுறம் இருக்க பாட உள்ளடக்கம் என்பது அதனோடு இணைந்து செல்லும் மற்றொரு அங்கமாக முக்கியத்துவம் பெறுகிறது. இந்த உள்ளடக்கமானது ஒரு பாடத்தின் நோக்கத்தை ஒட்டியே அமையும். அவ்வகையில் பண்பாடுமிக்க சமுதாயத்தை உருவாக்கும் முயற்சியில் கற்றல் கற்பித்தலில் இலக்கியக் கூறுகள் எவ்வகையில் துணை நிற்கும் என்பதை இக்கட்டுரை ஆய்கிறது.
