மலேசிய நன்னெறிக் கல்வி போதனையில் வால்மீகி இராமாயணம் (The Valmiki Ramayana in the teaching of moral education in Malaysia)

Abstract

Moral education can create a good ethical society. Globally; people are of the same opinion that moral education in academic curriculum can inculcate good citizens of respective Nations. Malaysian Government, taking this in mind has introduced a special moral education framework in the syllabus as compulsory to the students. This syllabus proposes seven moral education aspects. But teachers are given freedom to execute and impart moral education to the students based on this structure. Literature has its own role in hinting at morality to its readers. This Paper studies how the Epic Ramayana imparts morality to the society and also the worship of nature. Valmiki Ramayana has been chosen for this purpose. Also the Paper suggests how to carry out this moral education curriculum in teaching the students.

ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம்:

நன்நெறி என்பது நல்ல மனிதனிதனையும் சமுதாயத்தையும் உருவாக்கவல்லது. எனவே உலக மக்கள் அனைவரும் பள்ளிப் பாடத்திட்டத்தில் நன்நெறிப் பாடம் என்பது மிகவும் அவசியமானது எனும் ஒருமித்த கருத்துடையவர்களாக இருப்பது தெரிய வருகிறது. மலேசிய அரசாங்கம் இதனை சரியாக உணர்ந்து இதற்கென பிரத்தியேகமாக நன்நெறிக் கலைத்திட்டம் ஒன்றை கட்டாயப் பாடமாக மாணவர்களுக்கு வைத்துள்ளது. இக்கலைத்திட்டத்தில் ஏழு நன்நெறிக் கூறுகள் முன்வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆனால் அவற்றுக்கான கருத்துருவாக்கம் செய்தல், உகந்த உதாரணத்தோடு அந்நன்நெறிப் பண்புகளை மாணவர்களுக்கு போதித்தல் போன்றவை ஆசிரியப் பெருமக்களின் பொறுப்பில் விடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இக்கட்டுரையானது, நன்நெறிப் பண்புகளை கற்றல் கற்பித்தலில் எவ்வகையில் இந்திய இலக்கியப் பாரம்பரியத்தின், குறிப்பாக வால்மீகி இராமாயணத்தின் துணை கொண்டு போதிக்க இயலும் என்பதை இயற்கையை நேசித்துப் போற்றுதல் எனும் உப பண்பினை உதாரணமாகக் கொண்டு விளக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனை எவ்வாறு நன்நெறிப் பாட கற்றல் கற்பித்தலில் கையாளலாம் எனும் வடிவமைப்பிலேயெ இக்கட்டுரை படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
