The characterisation is crucial for keeping an epic or story's plot interesting and moving forward. It is the subtlety of the characterization that captures the attention and interest of the readers. The characterizations of many epics remain a bulwark of moral life even today. In this study, Rama's siblings Bharata, Lakshmana and Satrugna are explored in accordance with Thomas Lickona's theory (1991). This research has been carried out with a qualitative approach and analysed descriptively. It has been examined according to the hermeneutic interpretative approach. According to Thomas Lickona's theory (1991), the characterisation of Bharata, Lakshmana and Satrugna has been analysed using three components: moral knowing, feeling, and action. Therefore, this study highlights that moral knowledge, feelings, and actions are necessary to do good deeds without going off track.
