சிலாங்கூரில் இந்தியர்களுக்கு எதிரான கம்யூனிஸ்ட் வன்முறை, 1948-1960. (Communist Violence against Indians in Selangor, 1948-1960)

Abstract

The Emergency recalls bitter experiences for Malaysians regardless of the Malays, Chinese, Indians, Aborigines and even Europeans who lived in Malaya at that time. During the Emergency period the lives of people were depressed due to various acts of violence and suffering from communist violence everywhere in Malaya. Communist violence in those times took place everywhere and anytime and on anyone. No one knows what will happen next. In light of this, this paper will focus on communist violence against Indians in Selangor. The state of Selangor was the focus of this study as it had a large population of Indians and communist violence was widespread at that time. The focus on one state will give a broad picture of communist violence in other states in Malaya. The main objective of this study was to address the effects of communist violence on Indians and to see the involvement of Indians as communists in the Malayan Communist Party (CPM) indirectly. The issues raised in this study are the tactics used by the communists to oppress the people and the government and identify the involvement of the Indians in the CPM. This study is very important in understanding the hardships experienced by every ethnic group in Malaya in times of emergency. This study is also important because it is based on a Tamil Nesan newspaper that has never been referred by any researcher.

ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

மலாய்க்காரர்கள், சீனர்கள், இந்தியர்கள், பழங்குடியினர் மற்றும் அந்த நேரத்தில் மலாயாவில் வாழ்ந்த ஐரோப்பியர்கள் கூட பொருட்படுத்தாமல் மலேசியர்களுக்கு கசப்பான அனுபவங்களை அவசரநிலை நினைவுபடுத்துகிறது. அவசர காலங்களில் மலாயாவில் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் பல்வேறு வன்முறைச் செயல்களாலும், கம்யூனிச வன்முறையால் அவதிப்பட்டதாலும் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கை மந்தமானது. அந்தக் காலங்களில் கம்யூனிச வன்முறை எல்லா இடங்களிலும் எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் எவருக்கும் நடந்தது. அடுத்து என்ன நடக்கும் என்று யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. இந்த கட்டுரை சிலாங்கூரில் இந்தியர்களுக்கு எதிரான கம்யூனிச வன்முறைகள் குறித்து கவனம் செலுத்தும். இந்த ஆய்வின் மையமாக சிலாங்கூர் மாநிலம் இருந்தது, ஏனெனில் அது இந்தியர்கள் அதிக எண்ணிக்கையில் இருந்தது மற்றும் கம்யூனிச வன்முறை அந்த நேரத்தில் பரவலாக இருந்தது. ஒரு மாநிலத்தின் மீது கவனம் செலுத்துவது மலாயாவில் மற்ற மாநிலங்களில் கம்யூனிச வன்முறை பற்றிய விரிவான சித்திரத்தை வழங்கும். இந்த ஆய்வின் முக்கிய நோக்கம் இந்தியர்களுக்கு கம்யூனிச வன்முறையின் விளைவுகளை நிவர்த்தி செய்வதும், மலாயன் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியில் (சிபிஎம்) மறைமுகமாக இந்தியர்கள் கம்யூனிஸ்டுகளாக ஈடுபடுவதைக் காண்பதும் ஆகும். இந்த ஆய்வில் எழுப்பப்பட்ட பிரச்சினைகள் கம்யூனிஸ்டுகள் மக்களையும் அரசாங்கத்தையும் ஒடுக்கவும், சிபிஎம்மில் இந்தியர்களின் ஈடுபாட்டை அடையாளம் காணவும் பயன்படுத்தும் தந்திரோபாயங்கள். அவசர காலங்களில் மலாயாவில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு இனத்தினரும் அனுபவிக்கும் கஷ்டங்களைப் புரிந்துகொள்வதில் இந்த ஆய்வு மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. இந்த ஆய்வும் முக்கியமானது, ஏனெனில் இது ஒரு ஆராய்ச்சியாளரால் குறிப்பிடப்படாத ஒரு தமிழ் நேசன் செய்தித்தாளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டது
