Journal Repository Policy (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)

The Journal supports the dissemination and accessibility of scholarly work and permits authors to deposit copies of their manuscripts in institutional, disciplinary, or other repositories of their choice, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) licence under which articles are published. Authors must ensure proper attribution to the Journal as the original place of publication and include a link to the published article whenever possible.

Submitted Version (Preprint)

Authors may deposit the submitted version of their manuscript (preprint) in any institutional, disciplinary, or other repository at any time, including prior to and during the peer-review process. There is no embargo period for preprint deposition. Authors should clearly state that the manuscript has not been peer-reviewed and that the final published version may differ.

Accepted Version (Author Accepted Manuscript)

Authors may deposit the accepted version of their manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript), which reflects all changes resulting from peer review but excludes copyediting and typesetting, in an institutional or other non-commercial repository immediately upon acceptance. The deposited manuscript must:

  • acknowledge the Journal as the original publisher;

  • include a complete citation of the published article once available; and

  • provide a DOI link to the Version of Record on the Journal’s website once available.

Published Version (Version of Record)

Authors may deposit the published version of their article (Version of Record) in institutional or other non-commercial repositories without embargo, provided that:

  • the article is not altered, adapted, or transformed in any way;

  • the Journal is clearly identified as the original publisher;

  • full bibliographic citation details including DOI are included; and

  • the article is used strictly for non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence.

Any reuse, redistribution, or archiving of the published version must comply fully with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence.
