Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs Times New Roman, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

JPMP accepts research/original articles and review articles. All paper should adhere and relate to the scope and policy of JPMP. Submission of articles on subjects with relevance (multidisciplinary) to the journal are welcomed. The journal is limited to 2 regular issues per year (July and December). The submission should adhere to our guidelines.Manuscripts are accepted on the understanding that they have not been and will not be published elsewhere. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. The editors have the final decision on publication. Accepted manuscripts become the copyright of the journal.

Preparation of Manuscripts

Author shall submit 3 files into the OJS submission system, otherwise will be deemed incomplete submission. The files are:

1) Cover letter
2) Title page
3) Manuscript without authors' information

  • The manuscripts are written in English.
  • Manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (please follow the given template).
  • The preferred length for articles is around 5,000 to 8,000 words for research manuscript and around 8,000 to 10,000 words for review manuscript, inclusive of everything (Tables, Figures, References and Appendices).
  • All graphs, charts, figures, or tables should be put where the relevant texts appear in the manuscript.

In general, manuscripts should be organised in the following order:

A. Cover Letter

All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter from the corresponding author. By submitting this letter, the corresponding author accepts responsibility for all statements contained within it. The details of all authors including email address must be listed in the cover letter. It should be declared that the manuscript has not been submitted to another journal and will not be published elsewhere until the decision made by the journal. All authors must agree on the submission to this journal.

B. Title Page (as a separate file which includes);

• Title of manuscript
• Name of authors (maximum of 5 authors)
• Affiliations of authors
• E-mail address of the authors and corresponding author
• Acknowledgements of any funders or research grants

C. Manuscript without the authors' infromation

• Title of manuscript
• Abstract
• Keywords (3-5 words)
• Introduction
• Literature Review/Background Study
• Methodology
• Data Collection
• Analysis and Results
• Discussion
• Conclusion
• References

REFERENCES

Only references which are cited in the text should be included in the Reference List. the APA Style reference system is adopted for the journal. Please refer to guidelines presented in http://www.apastyle.org for details for submissions. References within the text will be shown in bracket by quoting first, the author's name followed by a comma and year of publication all in round bracket, e.g. (Salim, 2003).

References should appear at the end of the article, arranged in alphabetical order by the first author's surname as follows:
• For books: surname, initials, (year), title, publisher, place of publication
• For journals: surname, initials, (year), title, journal, volume, number, pages
• For conference papers: surname, initials, (year), paper title, conference name, place, pages
