Surah Al-Adiyat, Stylistic Approach, Phonological Structure, Syntactic Structure, Semantics.Abstract
This research provides an analytical study of "Surah Al-Adiyat" through the lens of a stylistic approach, revealing its educational dimensions through a "tripartite" structural framework (the context of sincere intention, the context of motivation, and the context of eschatological awareness). The study begins by resolving the exegetical debate regarding the Surah's revelation (Makki vs. Madani), favoring the Makki classification. It argues, supported by linguistic and contextual evidence, that "Al-Adiyat" refers to war horses rather than pilgrimage camels. The research then delves into the phonological, syntactic, and semantic structures, highlighting the profound synergy between the phonetic rhythm and the kinetic imagery of the charging horses. It underscores the semantic dichotomy between the horses' loyalty to their human masters and the inherent ingratitude (Kanud) of humans towards their Creator, culminating in the scene of resurrection and judgment as the inevitable consequence of this ingratitude.
